New dates for the Vintage and Very Nice Market Bazaar

Good news everyone!


After the success of our debut Market Bazaar on the 11th February we are pleased to announce more dates for the year.


Staying at the wonder Assembly rooms we will be having Market Bazaars on 19th May, 30th June, 28th July and 1st September.  With our vintage tea room making a return together with hairdressing, music and even more stalls we are really looking forward to bringing Chichester vintage scene to the fore.  


We will always be free entry and encourage and help local sellers.


We are currently sorting through all the feedback forms, some as far away as the Cotswolds, to make sure the next Vintage and Very Nice Market Bazaar is even better.

Cake and Bubbly, yes please

Bubbles and cake with champagne frosting while I think about my purchases you say?  

Yes that's right served on vintage crockery in the light and airy Tea room we have cakes, brownies and cream teas from the lovely and quite barmy  Emma Newton from Newtons Bakery.  Emma has created a Champagne and Strawberry's Victoria Sponge with Champagne frosting and cupcakes with heart sprinkles for Valentines day. 

To go with that lovely a glass of delicate Prosecco from Hennings Wine Merchants.  The Primo we have selected on their recommendation is perfect for lunchtime and afternoon drinking.  It has a straw colour and small bubbles and is semi-sparkling. A touch of pear and melon in the aroma, this is crisp and clean with nice acidity and has a refreshing dry finish

So do pop into our pop-up Vintage tea room for something Very Nice.

Great Graters

Here at VVN we are always looking at things in a different way, to see how they could be used in a way that they were not originally intended.

So here at VVN cottage we have 1940s Swiss enema pots that hold kitchen utensils, an enamel meat safe for our potatoes and onions, a Victorian pine doors for a headboard and of course our famous tongue and groove door for a stall.

So when I saw these I was immediately enamoured with the idea.

Now where to source some graters???
